You say you’ve heard that story before? You say you already have an e-mail filter that is supposed to do the same thing?
Well, Sendio's ESP is different. It really works. It’s not a "filter," so it doesn’t read your e-mail and try to "guess" whether a message is good or bad.
Instead, ESP focuses on the sender of a message and uses a series of techniques, including sender reputation, sender authentication and sender verification, which do not have the flaws that "probabilistic" filters suffer.
ESP delivers all of the key elements for enterprise-class communications:
- Complete protection from viruses
- 100% elimination of spam
- Simple user control over "unwanted" messages
- Industry-standard content encryption
- Minimized risk from Trojans, bots, phishing and other "malware"
What it DOESN'T have:
- A "quarantine" where legitimate messages can get lost
- Filter rules to maintain

Installation of Sendio's E-mail Security Platform
The ESP is a secure network appliance that can be placed anywhere in a network infrastructure so long as the e-mail flow runs through the ESP before arriving at the mail server (MTA). Below is just one typical architecture. The ESP can also be placed in the DMZ. In larger deployments, the ESP can be placed in series in front of existing anti-spam systems to further ease installation.
The ESP is installed "logically" between the Internet and one or more e-mail servers (e.g. MS Exchange or Lotus Notes). The corporate MX (Mail eXchange) record in DNS is set to point to the ESP, allowing all e-mail from the Internet to be routed to the ESP. The ESP receives the messages, processing them through a series of e-mail security services, eliminating the unwanted messages, and forwarding the remaining e-mail to the server(s) for delivery.
