Total Data Privacy: The 3X Remote Backup Appliance (RBA) is a secure, encrypted, and portable vault for your business data. No third party is involved in maintaining a copy of your data - you or your trusted IT team have it in your possession at all times. Since the portable device can be easily moved onsite, the RBA eliminates the long delays required to complete an initial backup or restore a full file system that are common with online backup services. The monthly fees of such services are also eliminated because you own the appliance and become your own de-facto cloud backup provider.
Total Data Recovery: Any user can safely restore his or her own files from a simple drop-down file menu, and administrators can push recovered files to new locations in the event of a stolen laptop or an errantly deleted sales presentation on the road. The Appliance uses four levels of integrity testing to ensure data is not corrupted or incomplete, and RAID-1 server-grade hard drives with an MTBF rating of 1.2 million hours (137 years). Versions of point-in-time restores can be retained for weeks, months, or even years and the retention policy for each backup set can be customized to meet your specific business and legal requirements.
Total Data Mobility: Not only is the appliance portable, but it also uses a patent-pending locator technology that eliminates reliance on IP addresses, port numbers and hostnames. Instead, the appliance uses the secure authentication key itself to identify and validate endpoints. This means that the vault and ALL endpoints can be located anywhere in the world with broadband access, and the system operates seamlessly without manual reconfiguration. Laptops and remote offices are fully backed up and as easily managed as a local server or static desktop.
